End User License Agreement

Last updated: June 11, 2026

By downloading, installing, or using Loom, you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use Loom.

1. Definitions

  • "Loom" means the compiled Unity package (com.loomgui), including the native binary, C# runtime, and bundled TypeScript packages (@loomgui/bridge, @loomgui/vite-plugin), as distributed by Snack.
  • "Licensee" means the individual or entity that has purchased or received a license to use Loom.
  • "Licensor" or "Snack" means Snack Software SAS, the developer of Loom.
  • "Update period" means the twelve (12) months following the date of purchase, during which the Licensee is entitled to receive updates to Loom.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of any applicable fees, Snack grants you a non‑exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to install and use Loom for the purpose of building applications that integrate Loom's UI capabilities. This license includes the right to distribute Loom as a compiled, embedded component of your own applications, provided that your application adds substantial functionality beyond Loom itself.

3. Updates

During the update period, you are entitled to download and use any new release of Loom published by Snack. After the update period expires, you may continue using the last version you received under a perpetual license. Renewing the update period grants access to new releases for an additional twelve months.

4. Restrictions

  • You may not distribute, sublicense, or resell Loom in standalone form (i.e., not embedded in your own application).
  • You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or license notices included in the package.
  • You may not use Loom to develop software that violates applicable law.
  • You may not attempt to extract, decompile, or reverse‑engineer the native binary except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Third‑Party Components

Loom includes third‑party software components subject to their own license terms. A complete list of third‑party licenses is distributed with the package in THIRDPARTY.md. Your use of Loom is also subject to those license terms.

6. Ownership

Loom is proprietary software. All rights, title, and interest in and to Loom, including the trademarks "Loom" and "com.loomgui", remain with Snack. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

Loom is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Snack be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of Loom, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Snack's total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for Loom in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Loom and destroy all copies in your possession.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
